This group includes what might be described as central northern Europe (including the UK and Scandinavia, but excluding Finland) and Romania.
Romania is 40, Switzerland 41, Austria 43, the UK 44 (as most readers of this website will know!), Denmark 45, Sweden 46, Norway 47, Poland 48, and Germany 49.
Code 42 was previously assigned to Czechoslovakia. Czechia is now 420 and Slovakia is 421.
